NEW DELHI: Shares of PSU banks were trading with losses in Wednesday's morning session.Shares of Jammu - Kashmir Bank (down 5.05 per cent), Central Bank of India (down 1.26 per cent), Indian Bank (down 0.93 per cent)and State Bank of India (down 0.86 per cent) were trading lower.Canara Bank (down 0.80 per cent), Bank of Baroda (down 0.78 per cent), Allahabad Bank (down 0.60 per cent)and Union Bank of India (down 0.47 per cent) too were trading lower.The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.70 per cent down at 3090.40 around 10:10 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 61.45 points at 11,904.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 215.96 points at 39,734.50.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.
