NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's morning session.Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software (up 1.33 per cent), NIIT Technologies (up 0.94 per cent), Infibeam Avenues (up 0.68 per cent) and Infosys (up 0.12 per cent) were trading with gains.HCL Technologies (down 1.16 per cent), Mindtree (down 0.64 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 0.48 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (down 0.37 per cent) were trading lower.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.02 per cent down at 15,925.20 around 10:27 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.35 points at 11,956.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 121.12 points at 39,960.37.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Dish TV India, PNB, Adani Power, Adani Enterprises, IDFC and Bank of India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
