NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the green in Monday's morning session.Shares of Tata Motors (up 4.20 per cent), Bharat Forge (up 1.81 per cent) , Bajaj Auto (up 1.58 per cent) and Motherson Sumi Systems (up 1.46 per cent) were trading higher.MRF (up 1.01 per cent) , Apollo Tyres (up 0.90 per cent) , Bosch (up 0.87 per cent) and Exide Industries (up 0.63 per cent) too were trading in the green.
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.88 per cent up at 7462 around 09:45 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 17.95 points at 11,323 while the BSE Sensex was up 51 points at 38,178.08.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bank of Baroda, Rail Vikas Nigam, Edelweiss Fin, Ashok Leyland, SBI and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
