NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the positive zone in Friday's morning session.Shares of DLF (up 6 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.99 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 3.55 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 2.68 per cent) were the top performers in the index.Sobha (up 2.24 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 0.27 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.06 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.02 per cent) too were trading higher.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.21 per cent up at 282.55 around 10:08 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 21.65 points at 11,990.40 while the BSE Sensex was down 57.17 points at 40,596.57.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, ICICI Bank, DLF, JSPL, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, BHEL and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
