NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading with gains in Tuesday's morning session.Shares of Just Dial (up 3.17 per cent) , Tata Elxsi (up 2.17 per cent) , Infosys (up 0.98 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 0.58 per cent) were trading in the green.
Hexaware Technologies (up 0.27 per cent) , Wipro (up 0.21 per cent) , Tech Mahindra (up 0.04 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.02 per cent) too were trading higher.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.31 per cent up at 15,147.30 around 10:00 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 40.45 points at 12,114.20, while the BSE Sensex was up 174.49 points at 41,063.72.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zee Ent., ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, IDFC First Bank , Bank of India, SBI and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
