NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's morning session.
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (up 6.47 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.05 per cent) , SOBHA (up 0.58 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 0.52 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.15 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Phoenix Mills (down 1.13 per cent) , Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.38 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 0.35 per cent) , DLF (down 0.13 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.05 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.41 per cent up at 290.55 around 10:35 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 80.80 points at 12134.75 , while the BSE Sensex was up 297.16 points at 41235.88 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Trident Ltd, SAIL, JSPL, Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Vedanta were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
