NEW DELHI: OMCs were trading in the green in Friday's session with their sectoral index on BSE trading higher.
Shares of Indraprastha Gas (up 1.12 per cent) , Petronet LNG (up 1.01 per cent) , HPCL (up 0.6 per cent) , Reliance Industries (up 0.48 per cent) , Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.39 per cent) , Oil - Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.32 per cent) , Gujarat State Petronet (up 0.16 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The S-P BSE Oil - Gas index was trading 0.39 per cent up at 14,940.02 around 10:54 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 24.10 points at 12283.8 , while the BSE Sensex was up 75.88 points at 41749.8.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Petronet LNG, BHEL, SBI, SAIL, JSPL, Bank of Baroda and Adani Ports SEZ were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
