NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Godrej Properties (up 3.13 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.86 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 1.19 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 0.98 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.74 per cent) and DLF (up 0.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.39 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.17 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.2 per cent) and SOBHA (down 0.05 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.63 per cent up at 329.0 around 10:06 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 84.95 points at 12140.75 , while the BSE Sensex was up 265.14 points at 41232.0 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, SAIL, Bharti Airtel, United Spirits, SBI, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and Indian Oil Corp were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
