NEW DELHI: Consumer Durables shares were trading with gains in Wednesday's session.
Shares of CROMPTON (up 1.81 per cent), Symphony (up 1.0 per cent), VIP Industries (up 0.94 per cent), Blue Star (up 0.65 per cent), Whirlpool of India (up 0.6 per cent), Rajesh Exports (up 0.39 per cent) and TTK Prestige (up 0.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The S-P BSE Consumer Durables index was trading 0.19 per cent up at 26862.41 around 10:58 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 99.60 points at 12207.5 , while the BSE Sensex was up 379.44 points at 41595.58 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, BHEL, Godrej Consumer, NALCO, Can Fin Homes, IDBI Bank, SBI and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
