MUMBAI: On a day when Sensex plunged over 4 per cent, Shyam Sekhar's iThought Wealth Analytics sold shares in a microcap firm, while hedge fund Antara raised its stake in a smallcap company.BSEs 30-share Sensex started fiscal year 2021 on a bleak note on Wednesday, as it dropped 4.08 per cent or 1,203.18 points to close at 28,265.31.NSEs 50-share Nifty shed 3.89 per cent or 334.15 points to close at 8,263.60.
The selloff wiped off Rs 3.21 lakh crore from the market capitalisation of the BSE-listed companies.Heres who bought what in some of key bulk and block deals of the day:Antara India Evergreen Fund raised stake in Paisalo Digital, as it bought 2,64,937 shares of the company at Rs 159 per share, data from NSE showed.
Simultaneously, Davos International Fund offloaded 2,65,000 shares in the company at Rs 159 each.
Antara Evergreen India Fund held 2.97 per cent stake in the company as of December end.
Paisalo shares closed 4.96 per cent higher at Rs 171.35 on NSE.Shyam Sekhar's iThought Wealth Analytics sold 64,120 shares of Prima Plastics at Rs 25.02 each, data from BSE showed.
The companys shares closed 1.96 per cent lower at Rs 25 on the BSE.
