NEW DELHI: Shares of Uniply Industries (down 10.68 per cent), Larsen Toubro Infotech (down 9.64 per cent) and Mindtree (down 8.25 per cent) cracked up to 10 per cent on NSE in Thursday's trade.HT Media (down 7.26 per cent), 8K Miles Software Services (down 7.03 per cent), Ankit Metal Power (down 6.67 per cent), IG Petrochemicals (down 6.34 per cent), Shriram EPC (down 5.75 per cent), Hindustan Media Ventures (down 5.57 per cent) and V-Mart Retail (down 5 per cent) declined over 5 per cent.Equity benchmarks were subdued amid mixed Asian cues.
Rupee also weakened against the US dollar while oil prices rose in global markets.Bank, metal, financial and auto counters were experiencing the heat of selling.The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 22 points down at 10,958 around 09:55 am.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 16 points at 36,389 around the same time.
In the Nifty index, 22 stocks in the green, while 28 stocks were in the red.Vedanta, Titan Company, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel and ONGC were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.On the other hand, Bharti Infratel, HPCL, BPCL, UPL and Indian Oil Corporation were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
