Chennai-based investor Dolly Khanna is holding 0.69 per cent stake in Shreyans Industries, companys annual report has showed.The annual report of the company, which manufacturers writing and printing paper, showed that Khanna was holding 95,767 shares as of March 2018 against 10,643 shares as of March 31, 2017.Khanna was last spotted in Shreyans in September 2017, when she was holding over 1 per cent stake in the company.
Shares of Shreyans Industries, which were trading over 7 per cent up in the afternoon trade on Monday with more than five times spurt in volumes.Shares of the company have plunged over 19 per cent on the BSE during the ongoing year against 14 per cent rise in the benchmark Sensex.Shreyans in its annual report said, The supply and demand for writing and printing papers in India is already fairly balanced.
While demand for writing and printing papers is showing negative or no growth in different parts of the world due to digitalization, the growth emphasis on education sector in India is expected to result in a growth of at least 3 to 5 per cent.
Since, there is no new major capacities in the offing in near future, the market for writing and printing papers should remain fairly firm in the near future.
