NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading mixed during Tuesday's session.
Shares of Dhampure Specialty Sugars (up 13.24 per cent), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar (up 9.98 per cent), Rana Sugars (up 8.33 per cent), Simbhaoli Sugars (up 8.32 per cent) and Magadh Sugar Energy (up 7.22 per cent) jumped over 7 per cent.Indian Sucrose (up 4.98 per cent), Dharani Sugars Chemicals (up 4.98 per cent), Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises (up 4.97 per cent), Riga Sugar Company (up 4.95 per cent), Gayatri Sugars (up 4.91 per cent), SBEC Sugar (up 4.89 per cent), Empee Sugars Chemicals (up 4.88 per cent) and Piccadily Sugar (up 3.68 per cent) too were trading with decent gains.However, Piccadily Agro Industries (down 8.72 per cent), KCP Sugar Industries (down 8.22 per cent), Sakthi Sugars (down 7.81 per cent), Ugar Sugar Works (down 6.82 per cent), Mawana Sugars (down 6.35 per cent) and Shree Renuka Sugars (down 6.12 per cent) declined over 6 per cent.DCM Shriram Industries (down 5.42 per cent), Ponni Sugars (Erode) (down 5.30 per cent), Triveni Engineering Industries (down 5.07 per cent), Parvati Sweetners (down 5.00 per cent), Balrampur Chini Mills (down 4.96 per cent), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries (down 4.74 per cent), Uttam Sugar Mills (down 4.19 per cent), Bannari Amman Sugars (down 4.05 per cent) and Thiru Arooran Sugars (down 3.61 per cent) declined significantly.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 4 points up at 11,382 around 10:25 am.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 30 points at 37,616 around the same time.
In the Sensex index, 12 were in the green while 19 were in the red.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading up, while 31 were down.
