NEW DELHI: Shares of Den Networks (up 12.10 per cent), Hathway Cable (up 9.82 per cent), BEL (up 8.86 per cent), Arshiya (up 8.44 per cent) and Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 8.39 per cent) jumped over 8 per cent on NSE in Wednesday's trade in a positive market.Shares of Unitech (up 7.41 per cent), Religare (up 6.16 per cent), Centrum Capital (up 5.71 per cent), DHFL (up 5.49 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 5.42 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent higher at that time.
Benchmarks Nifty and Sensex looked choppy.
Select bank and financial counters were trading higher, giving a leg up to market.
However, losses in select FMCG, auto and IT heavyweights weighed on Sensex and Nifty.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 20 points up at 11,088, while the BSE Sensex was up 29 points at 36,681 around 10:15 am.Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were advancing and 18 were declining.Indiabulls Housing Finance, YES Bank, Mahindra Mahindra, Lupin and Eicher Motors were leading among Nifty scrips.HCL Technologies, ITC, Wipro, ONGC and Hindustan Unilever were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
