NEW DELHI: Most realty stocks were trading with decent gains in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.27 per cent up at 237 around 02:35 pm.
Unitech (up 5.56 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 4.87 per cent) and Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL) (up 4.79 per cent) were the top gainers in the realty pack.DLF (up 2.98 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 2.83 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.75 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.57 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.69 per cent) also advanced.
Phoenix Mills (down 2.87 per cent) and Sobha (down 1.09 per cent) were the two stocks that were down in the index.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 45 points at 11,023, while the BSE Sensex was 194 points at 36,458.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.
Indiabulls Housing Finance, Vedanta, UPL, GAIL (India) and YES Bank were among the top Nifty gainers.Bharti Infratel, Tata Motors, ITC, HCL Technologies and Wipro were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
