New Delhi: The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.04 per cent down at 204.25 around 11:56 am on Thursday with most of its components trading in the red.
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (down 5.24 per cent), DLF (down 4.25 per cent) and Unitech (down 4.00 per cent) were the top losers in the realty pack.Godrej Properties (down 2.54 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 2.12 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 1.21 per cent), too, appeared among top laggards.
Phoenix Mills (down 1.07 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.66 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.26 per cent) and Sobha (down 3.40 per cent) were the other major losers in the index.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 228.90 points at 10231.2, while BSE Sensex was down 760.97 points at 33999.92 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 8 were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, SBI, HPCL, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, Indian Oil Corp, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Vedanta and Hindalco Inds.
were among the most traded stocks on NSE.
