NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Power index was trading 0.29 per cent down at 1,946.78 around 02:01 pm on Friday with its components trading on a mixed note.
Shares of Reliance Infrastructure (up 6.27 per cent), Torrent Power (up 2.77 per cent), NHPC (up 1.27 per cent) and JSW Energy (up 0.94 per cent)were among the top performers.Siemens (down 4.18 per cent), Adani Transmission (down 3.25 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down -3.19 per cent) and KEC International (down 2.97 per cent)were among the top losers in the index.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 200.75 points at 10,252.3 while BSE Sensex was 625.17 points at 34,154.41 at that time.Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 39 were in the red.
Shares of JP Associates, Reliance Communication, Dewan Housing, YES Bank, Adani Power, Suzlon Energy, LT Fin Holding, South Indian Bank, SREI Infra Fin, PFC, GMR Infra, Infibeam Avenues, Reliance Power, PC Jeweller, RIL, Bank of Baroda and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
