NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.81 per cent up at 25,290.05 around 10:29 am on Monday with its components trading on a mixed note.
Shares of ICICI Bank (up 2.04 per cent) , HDFC Bank (up 1.54 per cent) , Axis Bank (up 1.16 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 0.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.
RBL Bank (down 6.94 per cent), YES Bank (down 2.94 per cent) , IndusInd Bank (down 1.74 per cent) and IDFC Bank (down 1.27 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 12.75 points at 10,316.3 while BSE Sensex was up 62.11 points at 34,377.74 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 28 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Idea Cellular, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bank of Baroda, LT Fin Holding, Ashok Leyland, RIL, Vedanta, DLF and ITC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
