NEW DELHI: FMCG shares were trading mixed with the Nifty FMCG index trading 0.29 per cent up at 28,927.75 around 11:18 am on Monday.
Shares of Marico (up 1.90 per cent), ColgatePalmolive (India) (up 1.85 per cent), Dabur India (up 1.43 per cent), United Breweries (up 0.84 per cent) and Procter Gamble Hygiene Healthcare (up 0.54 per cent) were among the top performers.United Spirits (down 3.07 per cent), Emami (down 2.66 per cent), Tata Global Beverages (down 1.63 per cent) and Godrej Consumer Products (down 1.02 per cent)were among the top losers in the index.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 20 points at 10,323.55 while BSE Sensex was up 89.12 points at 34,404.75 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Idea Cellular, ICICI Bank, SBI, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, LT Fin Holding, RIL, Vedanta, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, ITC, DLF and Infosys were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
