NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.18 per cent down at 25,032.50 around 10:22 am on Tuesday with most of its components trading in the green.
Shares of RBL Bank (up 2.46 per cent), IndusInd Bank (up 2.46 per cent), YES Bank (up 1.44 per cent) and Axis Bank (up 1.30 per cent) were among the top gainers.Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.97 per cent), State Bank of India (down 0.88 per cent) and HDFC Bank (down 0.61 per cent), were among the top losers in the index.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 28.60 points at 10,216.65 while BSE Sensex was 85.13 points at 34,049.25 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Bharti Infratel, Indiabulls Housing Finance, SBI, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, IndusInd Bank, Indian Oil Corp, BHEL, HPCL and RIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
