NEW DELHI: Power shares were trading mixed with the SP BSE Power index trading 0.72 per cent down at 1,913.71 around 12:10 pm on Friday.
Shares of CESC (up 2.76 per cent), ABB India (up 2.06 per cent), Torrent Power (up 1.87 per cent) and Tata Power Company (up 1.67 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 2.42 per cent), NTPC (down 1.95 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (down 1.49 per cent) and CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down 1.25 per cent) appeared among the laggards.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 29.95 points at 10,094.95 while BSE Sensex was down 108.08 points at 33,582.01 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, JP Associates, Reliance Communications, Equitas Holdings, Dewan Housing, Adani Power, Infibeam Avenues, PC Jeweller, GMR Infra, Ujjivan Financial Services, Suzlon Energy, BHEL, South Indian Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
