NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 290.76 points up at 35,440.77 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Simplex Casting (down 12.77 per cent), Hindustan Adhesives (down 12.75 per cent), Bhilwara Tech (down 10.69 per cent), Bharat Bhushan (down 10.00 per cent), Ocean Agro Industries (down 9.98 per cent), Garnet International (down 8.95 per cent), Ind Bank Housing (down 7.36 per cent), Accel Frontline (down 6.50 per cent), BCPL Railway Infrastructure (down 6.43 per cent) and Ambition Mica (down 6.26 per cent) were among the worst performers.Syncom Healthcare (down 6.12 per cent), Ravi Kumar Distilleries (down 5.54 per cent) and AMD Industries (down 5.30 per cent) too declined around 5-6 per cent at around the same time.
In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks were trading in the green, while 9 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 92.70 points up at 10,641.85.
