
Engineers with NASAs Exploration Ground Systems total stacking operations on the twin SLS (Space Launch System) strong rocket boosters for Artemis II by incorporating the nose cones atop the forward assemblies inside the Vehicle Assembly Buildings High Bay 3 at NASAs Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday, Feb.

The twin strong boosters will help support the staying rocket parts and the Orion spacecraft throughout final assembly of the Artemis II Moon rocket and offer more than 75 percent of the total SLS thrust throughout liftoff from NASA Kennedys Launch Pad 39B.
