NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 149.13 points up at 38,833.85 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.Shares of MAC Hotels (down 12.24 per cent), Blue Chip Tex (down 11.52 per cent), Space Incubatrics Technologies (down 9.80 per cent), Gyscoal Alloys (down 9 per cent), Tayo Rolls (down 8.68 per cent), Stanrose Mafat (down 7.96 per cent), Clarus Infra (down 7.40 per cent), Parenteral Drug (down 7.20 per cent), Poona Dal Oil (down 6.53 per cent) and Indian Acrylics (down 6.43 per cent) and Reliance Communications were among the worst performers.In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks were trading in the green, while 10 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 52.05 points up at 11,650.05.
