NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading on a mixed note in Monday's morning session.Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software (up 0.91 per cent), Wipro (up 0.51 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.36 per cent) were the top performers in the index.Tech Mahindra (down 1.26 per cent), Mindtree (down 1.11 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 0.36 per cent) and Infosys (down 0.26 per cent) were trading lower.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.09 per cent down at 16,175.55 around 10:43 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 18.60 points at 11,705.50 while the BSE Sensex was down 65.38 points at 39,129.11.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.
