3 of Moscows four airports briefly suspended flights Wednesday as Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian capital, authorities said.Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports halted both incoming and outbound flights, while Sheremetyevo suspended arrivals but permitted some departures on a case-by-case basis, according to Artyom Korenyako, a spokesperson for Russias Federal Air Transport Agency.Those limitations were introduced as Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defenses downed three drones on approach to the city.Emergency services are operating at the crash sites, Sobyanin composed on Telegram, without defining locations.The airspace restrictions were raised less than an hour later, Rosaviatsia said.Earlier in the day, Russias Defense Ministry said it ruined 159 Ukrainian drones overnight, adding that its forces obstructed another 39 drones over 6 Russian regions and annexed Crimea on Wednesday morning.The military has actually not discussed the midday strikes targeting Moscow.
