AYODHYA: Ahead of the inauguration scheduled for January 22, the ongoing floor-inlay work at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been showcased by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
Recently, the Trust shared glimpses of this intricate work, highlighting the progress in a post on social media platform 'X'.In continuation of the updates, the Trust had previously shared images in October, showcasing the detailed carvings within the premises of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.Prime minister Narendra Modi is set to grace the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.
Representatives from the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, along with religious leaders, formally extended an invitation to the prime minister.The foundation stone for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was ceremonially laid by Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.
Notably, the construction gained momentum following the landmark 2019 Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute, clearing the path for the grand temple's construction.In line with this, the 'Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust was established by the Centre to oversee and decide on all aspects of constructing the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya.The construction work has steadily progressed under the meticulous supervision of the Trust.
The temple's sanctum sanctorum will enshrine the idol of Ram Lalla, embodying the culmination of this long-cherished project.
