Today, anybody who knows anything about the real Syria is rejoicing at the news that President Assad can no longer torture, murder and gas the people of that ancient land.
His evil lieutenants are gone, the malign influence and airstrikes of Vladimir Putin have all but gone, and the mullahs in Tehran can no longer spread their evil gospel across this beautiful country.
Today we rejoice: tomorrow, the hard work of transition must begin.
