
A sub-forum, titled Inter-Civilization Exchanges and Mutual Learning: Cultural Inheritance and Innovation, was kept in Beijing on Friday as part of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting.
Guests from China and further afield taken part in conversations on executing the Global Civilization Initiative.Wang Wei, president of Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology, who has been engaged in archaeological research for 43 years, elaborated on the historical context and modern approaches to the inheritance and development of Chinese civilization.
Drawing from his practical experience, he highlighted the significance of shared knowing and exchange amongst civilizations.
