HDFC Bank, Indias largest private sector lender, said on Wednesday that its Board will consider issuing bonus shares and a special interim dividend for FY26 during its upcoming meeting on July 19.The board meeting, originally scheduled to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, will now also deliberate on this key proposal.The proposed bonus share issue will be in accordance with applicable regulations and subject to shareholders approval.No further details regarding the bonus issue have been disclosed by the bank so far.If approved, this would mark the first-ever bonus issue by HDFC Bank, according to Trendlyne data.Live EventsIn addition to the bonus issue, the Board will also consider the declaration of a special interim dividend on the banks equity shares for the financial year 202526.As per the banks earlier intimation, the trading window for its securities remains closed for designated employees and their immediate relatives until Monday, July 21, 2025, in accordance with its share dealing code.
