NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Monday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Suvidhaa Infoserve(15.00%), Amal Ltd(14.49%), Omax Autos(13.40%), Ddev Plastiks Ind(11.59%), Dutron Polymers(10.60%) and Chandra Prabhu(10.55%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 146.49 points down at 82353.98, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 32.65 points to 25117.2.
In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Amal Ltd, Soma Textiles, Ather Energy, Sambhv Steel Tubes and Sarthak Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omega Inter.Tech, A F Enterprises, Raj Television, Vantage Knowledge and ETT Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
