The Meteorology Department says that, due to the dominating active southwest monsoon conditions, rainy conditions are expected to be improved, especially in areas over the western slope of the central hills during the next couple of days, from today (July 18).
Further, strong winds are anticipated over the island and in the sea locations around the island.The public is asked for to be mindful to future forecasts released by the Department of Meteorology in this regard.
