NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 501.51 points down at 81757.73 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Retro Green Revolution(down 19.91 per cent), Raghuvansh Agrofarm(down 16.25 per cent), MPS Ltd(down 15.73 per cent), DB Realty(down 15.09 per cent) and Affordable Robotic(down 11.60 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 143.05 points down at 24968.4.
On the BSE, Anjani Foods, Kansal Fibres, Cityman Ltd, Mediaone Global Entertainment and Trans Financial hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Binny Mills, Guj Mineral Dev., Garuda Construction, Parsharti Invst and Cupid Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
