Govt turns down social media claims of special VIP line for Siri Dalada Wandanawa

A fraudulent invite is being distributed, misguiding the general public to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Siri Dalada Wandanawa (Exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic), according to the Presidents Media Division (PMD) said.It said this phony invite, incorrectly created in the name of the Secretary to the President Dr.
Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, advises recipients to come to the Presidents House in Kandy to take part in the event.No unique invitations have been provided to anybody for the Siri Dalada Wandanawa, according to the PMD.Additionally, it said that baseless claims are spreading out on social networks that a special VIP queue has actually been arranged for the Siri Dalada Vandanawa based upon this forged file.
These rumours are entirely false, the statement added.-PMD-
