Sony's shares fell on Wednesday over the news of Microsoft purchasing gaming giant Activision BlizzardShares in Japan's Sony plunged Wednesday, ending down almost 13 per cent after Microsoft revealed a landmark $69 billion offer to buy United States video gaming giant Activision Blizzard.The relocation, which will make Microsoft the third-largest video gaming business by profits behind Tencent and Sony, sent out the Japanese home entertainment and electronic devices corporation down 12.78 per cent to 12,410 yen by market close in Tokyo.
