NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed higher in the Fridays session.
Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 2.97%), Aries Agro Ltd.(up 2.63%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 1.83%), Bohra Industries Ltd.(up 1.04%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.92%) and Coromandel International Ltd.(up 0.01%) stood amongst the top gainers.
Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(down 8.37%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 2.78%), Khaitan Chemicals & & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.01%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(down 1.46%), Deepak Fertilisers & & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(down 1.10%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(down 0.95%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 0.94%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(down 0.72%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(down 0.52%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 0.37%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 55.71 points up at 25461.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 193.42 points at 83432.89.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.67%), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.36%), Dr.
Reddys Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.25%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.19%), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.13%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.12%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.96%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.88%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.82%) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.8%) stood among the leading gainers in the Nifty pack.
