NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Rasandik Ebgg(20.00%), Sri KPR Ind(20.00%), BNR Udyog(19.99%), Mazda Ltd(19.98%), Sindhu Trade(19.49%), PC Jeweller(19.10%), Parsvnath Dev.(17.32%) and Veranda Learning Sol(16.81%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 193.42 points up at 83432.89, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 55.71 points up at 25461.0.
In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Sindhu Trade, SML Isuzu, Sumeet Ind, Tourism Finance and Choice Intnl hit their fresh 52-week high, while Dreamfolks Services, Shree Rajasthan, Fine Line Circuits, Brand Realty and Kkrrafton Developers touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
