The NSE Nifty index was trading 4.16 points up at 25465.15, while BSE Sensex was up 13.09 points at 83445.98 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.85 percent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.97 percent), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.74 percent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent) were amongst the top gainers.
While Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 2.00 percent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
