NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:30AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.
Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.52 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(up 0.36 per cent) and Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent), Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) and Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.25 per cent at 22327.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 25.35 points at 25435.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 74.74 points at 83358.15.
Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
Shares of JP Power, PC Jeweller, Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of J G Chemicals, Tourism Finance, California Soft, Reliance Naval & Engg and Niraj Ispat Ind.
hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sadhana Nitro, SKIL Infrastructure, Stampede Cap(DVR), Globe Civil Projects and CMI Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
