NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded negative around 11:28AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.
Coforge Ltd.(up 0.38 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.38 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.3 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.
HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(down 0.4 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(down 0.39 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was down 0.01 per cent at 38862.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 23.46 points at 25437.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 26.57 points at 83415.93.
Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.
Shares of JP Power, RattanIndia Power, Alok Industries, Vodafone Idea and PC Jeweller were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Gabriel India, SML Isuzu, California Soft, Reliance Naval & Engg and Sumeet Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Nectar Lifesc, Dreamfolks Services, Sadhana Nitro, TECIL Chemicals and Globe Civil Projects hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
