NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index traded negative around 10:04AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
State Bank of India(up 1.16 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent), Federal Bank Ltd.(up 0.14 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.
ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent), Au Small Finance Bank Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent), Canara Bank(down 0.5 per cent) and Punjab National Bank(down 0.41 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Bank index was down 0.17 per cent at 57071.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 26.85 points at 25185.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 82.22 points at 82552.26.
Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, Ola Electric Mobilit, Network18 Media and RattanIndia Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of LE Travenues Techno, Lumax Ind, Quality Power Electr, Mangalam Global Ent and Soma Textiles hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Kilitch Drug, Visa Steel Ltd, Setubandhan Infra, Gayatri Highways and Lasa Supergenerics hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
