Government prepares to establish a nationwide mission on biomass use in thermal power plantsConcerned over circumstances of growing air
pollution due to farm stubble burning, the Government has actually decided to set up a National Objective on usage of biomass in coal based
thermal power plants.Power Ministry sources said that this step will also assist in decreasing carbon footprints of thermal power

thermal power plants and also to increase the level of co-firing from present 5 percent to higher levels.While the methods of working and
