BHOPAL: A 13-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide at her home in Vallabh Nagar area of Arera Hills on Monday afternoon.
She resided here with her maternal uncle and aunt.
Arera Hills police said that a case has been registered.
No suicide note was recovered, nor the statements of family members could be recorded so the reason behind her extreme step could not be ascertained.ACP Akshay Choudhary said that the deceased Rashmi Parkar, a resident of Vallabh Nagar, was a student of class 7.
Her parents reside in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh and work there.
She resided here with her maternal uncle and aunt.

Rashmi was alone at home on Monday afternoon when she took the extreme step.
When her family members returned home around 4.30pm and spotted her hanging, they rushed her to JP Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Acting on information, Arera Hills police reached the spot and registered a case.
