KATHMANDU: Chief of International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Song Tao, has returned home today.
He had come to Nepal to participate in the ‘Ideological Discussion between the CPC and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on CPCOpinion on Xi Jinping Thought&.
Tao returned home today after participating in the Discussions, NCP Foreign Department deputy chief, Bishnu Rijal, said.
NCP (NCP) School Departmentdeputy chief Beduram Bhusal and Rijal saw the CPC official off at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Fourteen CPC leaders had accompanied Tao in the discussions programme. The CPC delegation arrived in Nepal on Monday to attend the programme organised by NCP (NCP)Central School Department and CPCInternational Liaison Department.

Six persons today filed a writ petition against the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Department of Education, and the Teachers Service Commission at the Supreme Court, seeking stay order of examination schedule published by the TSC for obtaining permanent teaching licence.
The petitioners said though the notice seemed to have given them an opportunity for obtaining permanent teaching licence, it had infringed on their rights to competition.
Stating that the exam to be held was illegal the petitioners had filed the application demanding its cancellation, read the petition.
As per The Education Act (eighth amendment), secondary education refers to classes from nine to 12.
The act says successful completion of secondary education is equivalent to completing proficiency certificate level or higher secondary level, mentioned the petition.
But, the examination notice said that the exam was only for those who had completed MasterDegree in any subjects like Nepali, Sociology, Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, English, Accountancy, Agriculture and Animal Science, by obtaining at least aggregate marks of 300, from a recognised university, or had an equivalent degree, and were teaching at Secondary level and had acquired temporary teaching licences, according to the petitioners.
They also said the teachers of Economics were told to sit for the examination of Social Studies.
Against the fundamental principal of examination, teachers of different subjects were required to sit for the exam of Social Studies.
Such provision violated their right to employment, read the petition.
The Teachers Service Commission had published the notice inviting applications for Permanent Teaching Licence for the teachers of primary level, lower secondary level and secondary level teachers on June 17.

Kathmandu, September 24
Leader of the Communist Party of China visiting Nepal Song Tao today called on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Nepal Communist Party Co-chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
During his meeting with Bhandari at the latterofficial residence, Song said China was always in favour of Nepaldevelopment.
Song, who heads the CPCInternational Liaison Department, said to achieve development, political parties in Nepal should enhance their capacity and be strong, according to the presidentadvisor Sushil Pyakurel. Song said the MoU between the CPC and the NCP was in line with the idea of strengthening the NCP.
In her reply, Bhandari said Nepal was not a peoplerepublic, but federal democratic republic, and that any party could come to power through the election process.
Thatwhy, she said, the CPC should have harmonious relations with all Nepali parties because Nepal-China relations were above party-to-party relations, according to Pyakurel.
The meeting between Dahal and Song at a hotel in Kathmandu mostly dwelt on activities of the communist parties of the two countries.
Dahal thanked the CPC for extending cooperation to Nepal and Nepali people. He stressed the need for further strengthening relation between the two parties through continuous experience sharing. &I expect additional support from the Chinese government and the CPC in Nepaldevelopment endeavours,& Dahalsecretariat quoted him as saying, during the metering.
Song stressed onthe need for building a common platform for experience sharing between the two parties. Stating that ideology was one of the biggest assets of a communist party, Song said both the parties should work in further strengthening their ideologies.
&Parties can win peopleheart only through development,& said Song was quoted as saying by Dahalsecretariat during the meeting.
Yesterday, Song had called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latterofficial residence, in Baluwatar. According to OliPress Advisor Kundan Aryal, Song said his Nepal visit was also part of preparations for upcoming Nepal visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Prime Minister Oli said he hoped XiNepal visit would be fruitful. Song is in Nepal to attend the two-day ‘Communist Party of ChinaOpinion about Xi Jinping Thought and Ideological Discussion between Nepal Communist Party and Communist Party of China& that kicked off here yesterday.
