NARAYANGADH, AUGUST 19The weekly fair launched by the Industry Association Chitwan has attracted consumers.

The fair is held at Chitwan Exhibition Centre every Saturday. The fair runs from 6:00am to 11:00am."As the fair came up with five editions, more than 15,000 people visited it.

The fair has made arrangement of fresh products ranging from bamboo shoot to asparagus and pineapples.Such events contribute to boost the economy of backward communities, it is said.

Likewise, fresh and quality products reach the consumers' kitchen.Vice-chairman of the Association Madan Pokhrel said the fair was organised both for consumer's health and marketing of products.

It is being expanded gradually.Khemraj Neupane, who has been running a commercial stall of honey, observed that such fair is a tremendous opportunity for the farmers and small entrepreneurs.
