KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 16A Danish climber who was stranded at the high camp of Mt Ama Dablam (6,812 metres) since yesterday has been safely evacuated from Camp II this morning.
Family, friends pay tribute to record-holding climber Tenjen Lama Danish climber stranded at Ama Dablam, missing Russian climber spotted in Dhaulagiri Rajendra Lama, managing director at Friends Adventure, said that Brian Harring Boll, 53, has been airlifted from Camp II by Kailash Helicopter."Brian who suffered from snow blindness and altitude sickness has been admitted to SWACON International Hospital in Kathmandu," Lama said, his condition is out of danger.
Brian fell ill and couldn't move from the mushroom ridge, in between camp II and III, while descending from the summit point, yesterday morning.
Later in the night, his guide Dhana Tamang brought him down to Camp II, according to Lama.
