KATHMANDU, APRIL 14Thirteen climbers have successfully reached the summit of Mt Ama Dablam, standing tall at 6,812 meters, in the last two days. Mt Makalu records season's first summit as Lakpa Sherpa makes eighth ascent Ama Dablam summit route opens On April 13, six climbers successfully summitted the peak including Michael Robert the United Kingdom, Dawa Ongju Sherpa, Dawa Nupu Sherpa, and Lakpa Sherpa from Nepal, Sandeep Kumar Sangaru and Shamin Asaikar from India.They reached the top at 11:05 am Nepali Times, according to Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director and Expedition Leader of 8K Expeditions. Photo Courtesy: 8K Expeditions The following day, on April 14, the Ama Dablam Expedition witnessed further triumphs as more climbers conquered the peak.Shiao Yee Chong from Australia, Lee Mun Jo from Malaysia, along with the Sherpa duo of Pemba Dorchi Sherpa and Pemba Tasi Sherpa from Nepal reached the summit at 11:30 PM Nepali time.Later in the day, at 2:00 PM Nepali Time, three more climbers achieved the summit, including Tanuja Goyal from India, and Lakpa Nurbu Sherpa, and Pastenji Sherpa, who has now conquered Ama Dablam for the second time, both from Nepal.
