ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired federal cabinet assembly which granted approval to the set upment of Naya Pakistan Housing Authority across the country.The federal cabinet also approved construction of 1,35,000 apartments under Naya Pakistan Housing Programme.Briefing the media after the cabinet assembly, Fawad Chaudhry said 25,000 apartments shall be built in Islamabad for federal government employees and Prime Minister Imran Khan shall inaugurate the scheme on 17th of this month.
He said 110,000 apartments shall be constructed in Balochistan, where fishermen of Gwadar can get residence as well.He said PM Imran has also directed crackdown against big fish involved in theft of electricity and gas.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
