NEW DELHI: Leading mortgage lender HDFC is planning to raise up to Rs 45,000 crore through secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.The board of directors of company will consider issuance in a meeting on January 29, 2019.The amount will be raised in various tranches, company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday."The board of directors of corporation shall consider issuance of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures, in various tranches under Shelf Disclosure Document, aggregation Rs 45,000 crore on a private placement basis in accordance with approval granted by shareholders of corporation at 41st Annual General Meeting held on July 30, 2018, company said.HDFC will also release earning numbers for three-month and nine-month period ended December 31 on January 29, 2019.
