NEW DELHI: IT firm Wipro will consider a bonus issue proposal in its board meeting to be held on January 17-18, 2019.The company is also slated to announce its third-quarter earnings numbers on January 18, Wipro said in a regulatory filing on Monday.
Meeting of Board of Directors will be held over January 17-18, to consider condensed audited standalone and consolidated financial results for quarter ended December 31 and declaration of interim dividend, if any, for financial year 2018-19.
Please be informed that Board of Directors will also consider a proposal for issue of bonus shares at aforesaid meeting, filing said.Wipros peer Infosys, Indias second largest IT firm, on Friday had reported a 29.62 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,610 crore for December quarter.Tata Consultancy Services on other hand reported a 24.1 per cent rise in YoY profit at Rs 8,105 crore for December quarter last week.
